RecoverNova was founded by Javeed, a Chicago-based engineer who approached red light therapy the same way he approaches everything — by going deep on the data before making a decision.
After researching the photobiomodulation space extensively, Javeed identified a consistent problem: most red light therapy brands compete on marketing, not specifications. Flashy branding, vague claims, and panels with unverified irradiance output were everywhere. Transparent, spec-driven options built for serious users were not.
RecoverNova was built to fix that.
OUR APPROACH
We evaluate every panel the same way an engineer would:
Wavelength accuracy — Does it actually deliver 660nm and 850nm, or just claim to?
Irradiance output — What is the measured mW/cm² at a standard distance, not just the watt rating?
Build quality — Thermal management, driver architecture, EMF output, housing durability.
Real-world usability — Coverage area, mounting options, ease of daily use.
If a panel doesn't pass on specs, it doesn't make it into our catalog. No exceptions.
